Orla has a background in biochemistry and pharmaceutical research, bringing insight into the journey from drug discovery to market.

Orla completed her BSc in Natural Sciences at The University of Leeds, where she majored in Chemistry and Biochemistry. The research project she undertook during her studies allowed her to explore the use of organoids in the development of treatments for Glioblastomas.

Orla has previously worked for a pharmaceutical company which gave her a valuable insight into the drug discovery to market process, and the health inequalities we face today.
